Reminders

• It is very important to send us your flight itinerary for us to properly pick you up at the airport on your arrival and bring you back to the airport for your departure.
• Please do not forget to bring your  e-ticket from the airline.
• Do not be late, please arrive 2 hrs before your flight to avoid inconvenience.
• Please check in anything liquid in your baggage, never hand-carry them. Otherwise, this will be confiscated at the airport.
• It is highly recommended to hand carry good for one day clothes. Airline may off load your luggage without your knowledge and they send it the following day. This happen during peak seasons, December to May.
• Our assigned tour guide, driver and tour coordinator will be standing by at the airport to fetch you upon your arrival. They will be the one to assist you during the entire tour. Our tour coordinator will be the one to look over you with all your immediate needs or request while in Batanes. • Meals (breakfast, lunches, dinners) are provided by Batanes Travel and Tours along with your tours, this is for the complete hotel plus eco-tour package. While for Eco-Tours only you have your  lunch during the tour.
• The itinerary that came with this package will be followed during the entire tour.
• All municipal fees and boat fees (for Sabtang island tour) are covered in the package.
• Land transportation and boat transfers (this is for Sabtang island tour) will be provided by Batanes Travel & Tours .
• At the end of your tour, our tour guide and driver will assist you back to the airport. Please make sure to give at least 2 hrs allowance before the scheduled flight back to Manila.
• We have our feed back form. We would highly appreciate if you can fill it up for our services improvement in the future or any good experience you may share.

What to Bring

• Bring your personal medicines. The drugstores in Basco may not have them.
• Good trekking shoes. You will do some walking. A good alternative may be rubber-soled sandals.
• ATM (Bancnet/Megalink & Expressnet cards are accepted at Landbank and PNB ATM in Basco) cards. You may leave your credit cards. The only ATM machine in Batanes is provided by Landbank and PNB.
• Sun blocks, sunglasses, lip balm.
• Insect/Mosquito repellant
• Cold/rainy weather outfits (when you come from December to February)
• Your Phone and do not forget charger of course.
• Identification papers (passports for foreign tourists, any valid ID for locals)
• iPod/mp3 player. Batanes breathes new meanings to your favorite songs.
• Extra Ziploc plastic containers to water-proof your valuables and gadgets when doing inter-island travel.
• Other special personal items. But basic toiletries may be bought in Basco.
• Just a basic wristwatch, a waterproof one may be best. Don’t bring your expensive jewelry. You won’t need them there.
• Orange ribbon to tie up to your luggage so that our tour guide and driver could easily help you pick up and identify your luggage at the airport.
• Your sense of adventure and love for traditional culture.

Other Information

• Currently we have LBC, Cebuana Lhuilier, Western Union, Landbank (2 ATM machine) and PNB (1 ATM machine) where you can withdraw or receive money just in case of emergency.
• Globe and Smart network is available in Batanes.
• We are LTE ready but sometimes during day time due to many users, this slows down their service.
• Most of our hotel partners have starlink ready. Our office in Basco also have starlink that you can use.
